Google Analytics Features

Google Analytics Features

According to Google 50 updates will be submit at this year and run through 14 in the first live stream broadcast alone.
 The three most important features that every single website could make use of are;
1. Tool to migrate from 'classic' analytic to 'universal' which means that not mix messages and retain historic data.
2. Demographic segmentation; People pay lots of money at present at this sort of data
3.Improved educational content; this part will be boring for most readers however, the important is taht people focusing more on helping people use and understand Google Analytics. The existing Google Analytics educational resources are good but few people use them.
Furthermore, another 3 points that are big ones but are not suitable for everyone but if they can use them they can;
1. In an event tracking through tag manager will be little more easily which means that a person can implement events an almost every website work with.
2. Big Query Integration to allow you to export hit-level raw data and query it directly. This was accidentally leaked by E consultant blogger but the idea was delighted.
3. Double click display information import allowing to view display data in multichannel report.
4. Play store integration, this is suitable for Android app owners which help them to optimise their app campaigns and optimize their Play Store presence
5. API to pro grammatically set up manage analytics accounts and users; this is very helpful for companies with large range of sites and help them to manage all accounts. Also is helpful to consultants or analytics agencies.

Damion Brown e consultancy trainer and web analytics consultant at Datarunsdeep make some comment for the Google features and stated that from a technical point of view will be able to support Event Tracking without making any changes to javascript. The disadvantage of these features is that if you wanted something tracked usually need to manually code into the HTML page this will be okay for smaller scenarios however in an enterprise environment it is usually means bugging a developer to make a change and if you want to testing it can be a long and uncomfortable process.

Dan Barker states that the demographics reports will be useful and interesting and is something that really gives utterly new data to every website owner. The owner will be able to view virtually any report in Google Analtics.

My Personal point of view is that these features will be useful for companies and help companies to see who is interesting and their segmentation group.

Hans Rosling

Hans Rosling-the best statues you've ever seen http://www.ted.com/playlists/56/making_sense_of_too_much_data.html

 Hans Rosling represented how the world was changed from 1962 to 2003. In 1962 industrialize countries had small families and long lives in compare with developing countries, they had large families and relatively short lives. Moving to 2003 most of all countries starting to have small families and longer life and we have completely new world.
 He also analysed the world distribution of income where 20% of world population are rich, 20% are poor and 60% are in the middle, however the most population of the world (60%) they had only 24% of the income.
 This video by Hans Rosling it was very interesting and analytical. He had a very interesting way to represent his research by using attractive graphs.
